The Plant City Community Chorale (yes, we’ve had a small name change!) is preparing a very exciting event for the Plant City community!
Following the success of our Spiritual concert, we have partnered with our co-sponsor, Hopewell Memorial, and we will present a benefit concert on June 28th, at First Presbyterian Church in Plant City. The concert, A Tribute to Our Heroes, will benefit Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House provides “a home away from home” for families of our military wounded receiving care at major military and VA medical centers. For information on becoming a concert patron, go to the Become a Patron of 6/28 Patriotic Concert page. Tickets are complimentary; all donations received at the concert will go to Fisher House. Find all ticket information on the Patriotic Concert 6/28/2014 page. Please join with us in whatever way you can to support this worthwhile cause.
PCCC is always happy to welcome new singers; we perform a wide variety of music, from Broadway to Spiritual to Classical to Patriotic. If you enjoy singing and making new friends, our choir is for you! Our membership is diversified in ages, backgrounds, and musical ability. There is no audition required to join.
We rehearse on Monday nights from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Plant City. A fee of $30 per concert covers music and administrative costs. We perform a minimum of one concert per season and often have the opportunity to give a second concert during certain seasons. In addition to concerts, we participate in community performances when opportunities are available at venues such as The Strawberry Festival, Community Good Friday Service, Chamber of Commerce events, and Empty Bowls.
Plant City Community Chorale is a premier performing group in Plant City and surrounding areas. Visit the Membership page for more information about joining the group.
